I think we can all agree that 2020 was a...long year. We have teamed up with some other amazing trainers from Saskatchewan to bring you some spring seminars. It gives us all something to look forward to, after a year that lacked dog sports, trials, and seminars. We're anticipating that there may be some restrictions still in place this spring and all three seminars are planned with that in mind.
Our First seminar takes us to Maidstone, Sask to Flatlands Kennels Boarding & Training. Whitney Weston is bringing us in to teach a beginners tracking seminar outdoors. This will include starting articles as well, we're using a combination of different tracking styles to match each dog and team best. This seminar is already full, but contact Whitney at her webpage highlighted above as we have a wait list started and will be adding another weekend once we can arrange dates.
Seminar two is hosted right here in Prince Albert, and we're thrilled to team up with Whitney Weston and Ashley Horan to bring you a weekend of beginner scent detection. You're going to get all three of us to help start your dog, problem solve, and explain the ins and outs of beginner detection. We are working with SDDA and CKC scents and rulebooks so you will be able to train towards competing in either venue.
Our third seminar for this spring is again here in Prince Albert. We're bringing back Whitney Weston for two days to introduce two different dog sports. Day one is an introduction to Weight Pull and day two is an introduction to Barn Hunt. You get to choose whether you take one or both days, there are individual prices if you'd rather only attend one day with your dog. There are also audit spots if you're interested in seeing how it's done but don't have a suitable dog or are unable to attend with your dog.
